  9. Subject: Compiling TeX on an IRIX machine

  13. I am having a problm that it appears many people have had before.
  14. I have tried all of the suggested corrections  that I have found,
  15. and yet I still get the same problem.

  17. I get an error compiling 'x11.c'.  The error is something to do
  18. with 'wchar_t'.  I tried defining 'NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T' and the
  19. opposite as well.  I have tried these in every combination that
  20. seemed feasable; for 'web2c' only, ...  Anyway, I was wondering
  21. if anyone might have specific experience compiling on an IRIX machine.
  22. There also does not seem to be a pre-compiled version for an IRIX
  23. machine, so any help would be appreciated.

  25. For reference, I am using IRIX System V.4 Release 5.1.1.1
  26.            I am also using the default directories.
