Subject: Compiling TeX on an IRIX machine
Hello,
I am having a problm that it appears many people have had before.
I have tried all of the suggested corrections that I have found,
and yet I still get the same problem.
I get an error compiling 'x11.c'. The error is something to do
with 'wchar_t'. I tried defining 'NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T' and the
opposite as well. I have tried these in every combination that
seemed feasable; for 'web2c' only, ... Anyway, I was wondering
if anyone might have specific experience compiling on an IRIX machine.
There also does not seem to be a pre-compiled version for an IRIX
machine, so any help would be appreciated.
For reference, I am using IRIX System V.4 Release 5.1.1.1
I am also using the default directories.
Thanks for your help
Ned Patton
